A total of nine Windcatcher systems were installed to this new call centre to improve air quality, reduce overheating and to improve the overall working conditions for the 80-100 people who will be working in the building.
WindCatchers work by encapsulating the prevailing wind from any direction. Allowing clean and fresh air relatively free from contamination or traffic pollution to be entrained at roof level.

The air is then carried down to the rooms below through a controlled damper arrangement via the building management system.

A fully networked Allen Martin building management system was supplied and installed including dynamic plant graphics installed on the clients existing off site front end supervisor
The building management system installed was manufactured to Kent Police and KPS specifications and controls the buildings heating, hot water service, forced and natural ventilation.
The natural ventilators are Monodraught WindCatchers which are controlled by the building management system, the successful control integration of the WindCatchers into the building management system was of paramount importance on this project.
